2011 Celebrating 100 years of the Brotherhood of Centurions

A couple of years ago, the Centurions Committee meeting began to think of ways we could celebrate 100 YEARS of the Brotherhood of Centurions. The story so far....

Centenary Celebrations – Preparatory Thoughts for 2011

The Committee agreed that a Working Group should be formed and Carl, Chris and Kathy would start the ‘ball rolling’ for what it is hoped will be a very memorable and special occasion.
Now lots of other Centurions are involved in organising our Special Day...

Invitees: All UK Centurions and their wives/partners, and invitations to be sent to Centurions in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, US etc

Centenary 100mile Race

Traditionally, 2011 will be the "turn" of Surrey walking Club to organise/promote the annual RWA 100mile/24 hour Long Distance Championship.
This turns out to be quite fitting as Surrey Walking Club has been a very early stalwart supporter of Centurions and ultra distance walkers.

Merchandise

A special polo shirt will be on sale to commemorate the Centenary.
