Centurion No.492 - Steve King (Ilford AC and Stock Exchange AC) is appearing at the Pat Furey Trophies' Meeting (an Enfield League race over 5 Miles) at Donkey Lane on St.Patrick's Day, Saturday March 17th at 2.30 pm.

Steve qualified in the 1972 Leicester-to-Skegness 100 Miles and has twice gone sub-9 hours for the London-to-Brighton.  Steve emigrated to Canada in the late 70s and this is his first visit back to Blighty.

Steve is still a fit man having represented Canada as a 100 Km runner, he's also completed the Death Valley Marathon and has commentated on athletics for Canadian television.

His old Ilford and Stock Exchange colleagues are having a few beers and some bar meals with him after the race at The Halfway House" - which is the Beefeater Public House/restaurant at the other end of Donkey Lane (less than 400 yards' walk away).

Intending travellers are warned that nearby Tottenham Hotspur are "at home" as they say!   Please make allowances when planning your journey.
