Today, 27th October 2011, marked a step forward in looking after the history of the Brotherhood of Centurions.

President, Carl Lawton, Hon.Secretary, Chris Flint, and Assistant Secretary, Kathy Crilley, visited the Surrey History Centre in Woking, Surrey to officially hand over some of our early memorabilia: Minute Book One, Minute Book Three (No.2 seems to be missing) a scrap book of press cuttings and race reports dating back to 1911.

Why the Surrey History Centre?
The Centurions Committee have been trying to find a home for our archives for a couple of years and through our links with Surrey Walking Club who had deposited their own archives at SHC, we thought that this might be an ideal "home" for our own archives.
SHC were very receptive to our request and after initial enquiries and visit, the first bactch of material was deposited there on the 27th October 2011.

See the Centurions Archive pages for our history.
