CVN Reunion 2009

For many years, British Centurions have attended the Dutch annual meeting to hand out certificate and trophies won at the British event. 2009 was no exception....

Dutch Centurions AGM 28th November 2009 Muiden
Secretary Chris Flint, Assistant Secretary/web master Kathy Crilley, Vice-Presidents Sandra Brown and Jill Green made the long journey to Muiden (just east of Amsterdam) to join the Dutch Centurions in their annual reunion meal...

The meal was preceded by a tour of the magnificent castle - Muidenslot (below).
Whilst the day was billed as an "AGM" no business was conducted other than to salute all Centurions present and our own small ceremony of presenting the trophies and certificates to the new Centurions.
Although we were on the road for a total of over 8 hours, it was well worth the effort. We were made very welcome and it was a real pleasure to meet up with old friends again.
