Request for deposit
Committee > Centenary Celebrations
Dear Centurion
The House of Commons banqueting staff have informed us that they have had to undertake a review of their prices. This was quite unexpected and unfortunately the cost of the dinner has now risen to £60 per head.
The cost does include a 3 course meal, coffee and petit fours plus a welcome drink on arrival. It does not include drinks with your meal - these must be paid for by yourself on the night.
We now ask you for a deposit of £30.00 per person payable by 30th October 2010. Please make cheques payable to “Centurions” and send to Kathy Crilley.
The balance (£30.00) must be paid by 1st February 2011.
You can elect to pay the full amount by 30th October if you would prefer to do this.
But whether you choose to pay a deposit or the full amount, we would ask you to pay the amount as soon as possible as this would assist our administration.
You will be allocated the number of tickets which you requested on your reservation form.
The dinner is a complete sell-out, therefore, if you asked to bring a guest after you sent in the reservation form, then unfortunately this will not possible. If you are unsure how many tickets you requested - please do get in touch as soon as possible.
Security is tight at the House of Commons and they do require a list of everyone attending the dinner. Therefore, when you send your cheque, could you also please give the name of your guest (if you are bringing one). If a name is not on their list - then they will not let you in!
Cancellation/Refunds
Please note that the deposit and/or the full amount is non-refundable.
If, for any reason, you think that you will not be able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible in order that we can offer places to fellow Centurions who are on the waiting list.
Tickets will be posted out early 2011.

If you cannot remember whether you sent in details of dietary requirements (veggie, kosher, etc)- again, please do get in touch and we can confirm what you requested. You will not be able to change your mind on the night!
