Bristol Trophy

In the year 2000 presented by The BROTHERHOOD of CENTURIONS for the First Female Centurion to reach the 100 Mile mark in a 100 miles or greater distance race.

Hammond Trophy

Presented by the BROTHERHOOD of CENTURIONS on 14th August 1948 for the first to reach the 100 Mile mark” in a 100 miles or greater distance race (in retrospective till 1946)




Over the last decade the criteraia for awarding this trophy has changed several times:

  • In 2000 it was changedto the First Male Centurion to reach the 100 Mile mark in a 100 miles or greater distance race.
  • In 2005 it was changed to the First Male Finisher at the 100 Mile mark in a 100 miles or greater distance race.
  • In 2006 it changed to the First Male – existing - Centurion at the 100 Mile mark in a 100 miles or greater distance race.




Hew Neilson Trophy




Presented by the Neilson Family in 1989 in memory of Hew Neilso, for the First New Centurion in a 100 miles race in a year.


Ko van der Kwaak Cup


British vs Dutch Centurions 100 mile race.  Awarded to the winning team (6 to start, 3 to score) of existing Centurions. Team score on positions.
Presented by the Centurion Vereniging Nederland in 1966


Eddy McNeir Trophy

Presented in 1982 by Family McNeir in memoriam of C-375 Eddy Mc Neir  who became in 1965 Centurion on an age of 65.
this trophy is presented to the first male walker, aged 65 years of age or over on the day of the race  who completes 100 miles within 24 hours.


Bill King Memorial Trophy

Presented in 2005 in memory of Bill King for: “The Youngest Finisher to reach 100 mile in a 100 miles or greater distance race”


C-1022 F.v.d.Gulik (S.V. de LAT Amsterdam) has won this trophy each year from 2005 to 2008

Chas Shelley memorial Trophy

Presented by the Brotherhood of Centurions in 2005 in memory of Chas Shelley - President R.W.C. Bristol (1977)
The trophy is awarded to the first female walker over 65 year of age on the day of the race who completes 100 miles.

Presented in 1951 by the Sunday Dispatch Newspaper for the winner of a 100 miles or greater distance race. The only Centurion to date who has won the Chas Shelley Memorial Trophy is Jill Green C.898 at the 2007 race in Battersea Park.




Sunday Dispatch Trophy

Presented in 1951 by the Sunday Dispatch Newspaper for the winner of a 100 miles or greater distance race.

In 1958 the criteria for the trophy was changed as a Trophy for the Winning Team.
